Rice goes with everything!

While in Indonesia I’ve learned that the food here is very different than food I’m used to in the U.S. Indonesia is a very diverse and cultural country. Rice is the staple food and is served with almost everything. The most common meat served is chicken, beef and seafood like fish.

On the first day of being in Indonesia, I ate cow brain and had no idea what I had eaten until after! It was in a curry very well-seasoned and a little chewy. I feel if you’re an adventurous eater, there’s something for everyone in Indonesia’s diverse and delicious food.
